We first learned about the Cottage Estates project at Traverse Bay RV Resort in 2015 while on vacation in Sutton’s Bay. We had always wanted to explore the option of owning a cottage home, and love the Traverse Bay area. Dave and his team were very willing to work with us as we talked through what owning a cottage at the Traverse Bay RV Resort would look like. As the first owners associated with the project, there were many small details to work out. Dave helped us understand everything, supporting us all along the way and even after we moved in. Some of the best aspects of owning the cottage include the fact that we can close it up during the winter just like any other up-north home, but we feel secure knowing it’s tucked away on the resort property and not just out in the woods somewhere. During the months when the resort is open, the beautifully kept grounds and high-end amenities make it truly a resort feel, not simply just an RV park. Dave has countless connections in the Traverse Bay area, so it’s been very easy to make customizations to our home and space around it as we wish. Where some places would have sold us the cottage and never looked back, Dave and company always give us a warm welcome with every trip up to the resort, and are always there when we need them.
